5:00pm - 5:30pm @ The Edmonds Theater – Edmonds Woodway Jazz Ensemble
Starting off the festival will be the Edmonds-Woodway High School (EWHS) Band. Edmonds Woodway is one of the Northwest's premier high school music organizations and a key part in the successful Edmonds-Woodway Music Department under the direction of Mr. Jake Bergevin.
5:00pm - 7:45pm @ Rick Steves' Europe – Jean Chaumont Trio w/ Jay Thomas
French-born guitarist and composer Jean Chaumont is celebrated for his lyrical compositions and expressive tone. His acclaimed debut album The Beauty of Differences received a 4-star review from Downbeat Magazine. He currently resides in Seattle.
Jay Thomas is a living legend in the Seattle jazz world — a master of trumpet, flugelhorn, and saxophone whose career spans over five decades. A two-time Earshot Jazz Instrumentalist of the Year, Jay has played with everyone from Cedar Walton to Mel Lewis.

Kevin Buster, a founding member of multiple bands including Golden Earrings Jazz Band, is a multi-instrumentalist playing alto and soprano saxophones, guitar, clarinet, flute, washboard, and other percussion including tap dancing. He's been playing music since 1992 and has been playing with world famous Baby Gramps for the past three years.

Jacqueline Tabor stands proudly in the realms of jazz, blues, and swing, captivating audiences with her resounding voice, elegant demeanor, and captivating stage presence. Renowned as one of the foremost vocalists in the region, she has claimed the prestigious Earshot Jazz Vocalist of the Year award on four occasions. Also known as the "Seattle Chanteuse," Tabor's distinctive blend of bluesy allure and magnetic charisma infuses her performances with an unparalleled depth of emotion.

The Lynnwood High School Jazz Band, part of the Edmonds School District, is a vibrant ensemble dedicated to musical excellence and community engagement. Comprising talented student musicians, the band delivers dynamic performances that showcase a range of jazz styles.
6:00pm - 9:00pm @ Main Street Commons – The General's 7 Traditional Jazz Band
The General's 7 Traditional Jazz Band, part of the 133rd Washington Army National Guard Band, brings the spirit of New Orleans to every performance. Specializing in lively, authentic traditional jazz, the group supports the Army's mission by boosting morale, fostering community engagement, and representing the Washington National Guard with pride.
6:15pm - 7:00pm @ The Edmonds Theater – University of Washington Jazz Ensemble
The UW Studio Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Marc Seales, is widely acclaimed for its precision and excitement, aspiring to set the highest possible standards of excellence for the performance of jazz in all its forms. The ensemble is open by audition to both music majors and non-music majors at the UW.
6:00pm - 8:45pm @ The Cole Gallery – Richard Cole Quartet
Seattle saxophonist Richard Cole is a master technician and soulful improviser who has been a fixture on the Northwest jazz scene for decades. Has performed with Randy Brecker, Dave Holland, and the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra.
6:00pm - 8:45pm @ Cascadia Art Museum – Jake Bergevin Quintet
Trumpeter and vocalist Jake Bergevin is a well-known force in the Pacific Northwest jazz community — a bandleader, educator, and charismatic performer who brings heart and polish to every set. Drawing inspiration from Chet Baker, Clifford Brown, and the vocal stylings of Frank Sinatra, Jake blends the cool and the hot in a sound that's both smooth and adventurous.
6:00pm - 8:45pm @ Masonic Lodge – UMAMI Jazz Fusion
UMAMI JAZZ FUSION is Seattle's premier jazz fusion band. Featuring the band's favorite tracks of the great fusion era and beyond while folding tasty originals into the mix, the band is the brainchild of trumpeter John Sakura. The powerhouse rhythm section features Dave Austin on drums, Jim Cliff on bass, Leonard Berman on guitar, Bruce Laven on keyboards and lead vocals, and Scott Adams on saxophone.
6:00pm - 9:00pm @ Niles Peacock Kitchen & Bar – Brushes & Bass
Greg Williamson and Heather Chriscaden with guests Jamie Findlay on guitar and Brent Jensen on sax. Brushes and Bass focuses on the lighter side of acoustical jazz textures.
6:00pm - 9:00pm @ Dusted Valley Edmonds Wine Bar – Susan Pascal
Seattle jazz vibraphonist Susan Pascal has taken her music through four tours of Singapore and concerts, workshops and clinics across the United States. Her Pacific Northwest appearances include the Earshot Jazz Festival and Centrum Jazz Port Townsend. The Susan Pascal Quartet has been nominated twice for Best Acoustic Group by Seattle's Earshot Jazz. Pascal is heard on motion picture soundtracks including Office Space and The Wedding Planner.
6:00pm - 8:45pm @ ArtWorks – Treseler Pettibon Kolke Quintet
The Steve Treseler, Noah Pettibon, and Danny Kolke Quintet unites three dynamic voices from the Pacific Northwest jazz scene. Saxophonist Steve Treseler is acclaimed for his lyrical improvisation and genre-blending compositions. Baritone saxophonist Noah Pettibon brings a deep reverence for jazz tradition, informed by mentors like Barry Harris and Gary Smulyan. Pianist Danny Kolke is renowned for his hard-swinging style and gospel-infused voicings. Founder of Boxley's Jazz Club and JazzClubsNW, Kolke has been a pivotal figure in nurturing regional jazz talent.
6:00pm - 9:00pm @ Cafe Louvre – Quartet de Garde / Neil Welch
Seattle-based saxophonist Neil Welch is a bold voice in modern jazz and experimental music, known for his fearless improvisation and deep sonic exploration. A native of Edmonds, WA, and alumnus of the Edmonds-Woodway High School jazz program, Welch earned national recognition early on at the 2003 Essentially Ellington competition. His work spans avant-garde jazz, modern composition, and acoustic solo saxophone. As co-founder of the genre-defying duo Bad Luck and a member of Wayne Horvitz's Royal Room Collective Music Ensemble, he continues to push musical boundaries.
6:00pm - 8:45pm @ Graphite – Clave Gringa
Clave Gringa is a Seattle-based Latin jazz ensemble led by pianist and composer Ann Reynolds. The group performs a vibrant mix of original compositions and Cuban classics, drawing from cha-cha-cha and Afro-Cuban rhythms. Their album Joy was nominated for the Earshot Golden Ear Award for Best Northwest Recording. The ensemble features Mike Mines on trumpet, Nathaniel Schleimer on tenor sax and flute, Willie Garza on percussion, and Andy Zadrozny on bass.
7:00pm - 8:00pm @ The Edmonds Theater – Shoreline College Big Band
Jazz Ensemble is an 18-20 piece traditional big band comprised of Shoreline Community College's more advanced jazz players. While focused on traditional big band arrangements from Basie, Kenton and Ellington, the ensemble also performs more modern arrangements including Funk, Latin and Fusion styles. They earned the 2nd place award from the Reno Jazz Festival in 2016.
7:00pm - 10:00pm @ Kelnero21+ – Reuel Lubag & Kelley Johnson
Kelley Johnson is a rare jazz vocalist who combines luminous phrasing, elegant swing, and poetic emotional depth. A finalist in the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Vocal Competition, she has toured extensively across the U.S., Japan, and Europe.
Reuel Lubag is a distinguished jazz pianist, composer, and educator based in Seattle. He has performed with legends like Dizzy Gillespie, Joe Williams, and the Glenn Miller Orchestra. As a member of the Native Jazz Quartet, he toured Latin America as a U.S. State Department jazz ambassador.
7:00pm - 10:00pm @ Gallery North – Marco Antonio de Carvalho
Marco Antonio de Carvalho is a celebrated Brazilian guitarist, vocalist, and composer based in Seattle. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he studied classical guitar at the Conservatorio Brasileiro de Musica and the Villa-Lobos Institute. Blending samba, choro, bossa nova, and jazz, Marco's music reflects the rich traditions of Brazilian music infused with global influences.
8:00pm - 11:00pm @ Rick Steves' Europe – Kevin Buster Quartet
The Kevin Buster Quartet brings an electrifying blend of vintage swing, New Orleans jazz, and soulful improvisation. Led by Seattle-based multi-instrumentalist Kevin Buster — affectionately known as "Muscle Mouth" — the group delivers high-energy performances that channel the spirit of early jazz with a modern twist. His versatility spans alto and soprano saxophones, clarinet, guitar, flute, and even tap dancing.
8:00pm - 11:00pm @ Vinbero – Adriana Giordano Duo
Adriana Giordano is a Brazilian-born vocalist and cultural ambassador whose performances infuse the Pacific Northwest jazz scene with the vibrant rhythms and melodies of her homeland. Raised in Sao Paulo, Giordano brings a rich musical heritage to her work, blending samba, forro, bossa nova, and jazz into a dynamic and soulful sound.
8:00pm - 11:00pm @ Musicology Co – Marc Seales Trio
The Marc Seales Trio, led by esteemed Seattle pianist and composer Marc Seales, stands as a cornerstone of the Pacific Northwest jazz scene. Renowned for his expressive post-bop style infused with blues and gospel influences, Seales has collaborated with jazz luminaries such as Joe Henderson, Art Pepper, Benny Carter, and Bobby Hutcherson. Professor of Jazz Piano and Chair of the Jazz Studies Program at the University of Washington. The trio features bassist Jeff Johnson and drummer Steve Korn.
8:30pm - 10:00pm @ The Edmonds Theater – Soundsation
Soundsation, the pride of Edmonds College's renowned music program, is a musical ensemble dedicated to the advancement of singing and playing jazz. Founded in 1974 by Frank DeMiero, Soundsation has been under the creative tutelage of Four Freshmen alumnus Kirk Marcy for the past 35 years. The ensemble has toured extensively including the Montreux and North Sea Jazz Festivals in Europe. Soundsation has the distinction of being the only college choir to have ever performed with the Count Basie Orchestra.
9:00pm - 11:59pm @ ArtWorks – Beserat Tafesse Quartet
Trombonist Beserat Tafesse brings a compelling blend of cultures, styles, and energy to the stage. A rising voice in contemporary jazz, his work draws from both his Ethiopian heritage and his studies in New York and Seattle. Educator at Cornish College of the Arts.
9:00pm - 11:59pm @ Graphite – Nelda Swiggett Megabopolis Sextet
Seattle-based pianist and composer Nelda Swiggett has been a vibrant force in the Pacific Northwest jazz scene since the early 1990s. Her compositions blend jazz with Afro-Cuban, gospel, and classical influences. The sextet features Travis Ranney on tenor saxophone, Clif Swiggett on trombone, Carter Eng on trumpet, Michael Glynn on bass, and Max Wood on drums.
9:00pm - 11:59pm @ The Cole Gallery – Ranger & The Rearrangers
Ranger and the "Re-Arrangers" bring the vibrant spirit of Parisian cafes and Romani campsites to life with their unique take on Hot Club Swing. Formed in 2006 by violinist Ranger Sciacca and his father, guitarist Mike Sciacca, after a transformative trip to the Django Reinhardt Festival in France. The ensemble also features Dave Stewart on mandolin and vocals, Mick Nicholson on bass, and Jeffrey Moose on percussion and vocals.
9:00pm - 11:59pm @ Masonic Lodge – Jake Bergevin & The Jazz Punishments Big Band
The Jazz Punishments Big Band is a dynamic ensemble from the Northwest jazz scene, dedicated to upholding the legacy of the big band tradition. Comprised of a youthful and energetic group of musicians, many alumni of the Edmonds-Woodway High School Jazz program. Featuring Joel Steinke on saxophone, Jack Hillman on trombone, and Christine Hannan Eisenmenger on trumpet and vocals. Under the direction of Jake Bergevin.
