– Richard Cole Quartet
Seattle saxophonist Richard Cole is a master technician and soulful improviser who has been a fixture on the Northwest jazz scene for decades. Known for his bold tone and fluent command of both bebop and modern idioms, Cole's playing is equal parts fire and finesse. He has performed with jazz greats such as Randy Brecker, Dave Holland, and the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra. Performing with Bill Anschell on keyboards, Chris Symer on bass, and Brad Boal on drums.

– Roman Goron Trio
Roman Goron is a French-Filipino-American Jazz pianist and composer currently studying at The Juilliard School in New York City. He began piano at age five, studied solfège at the Schola Cantorum in Paris, and is a self-taught jazz pianist from age twelve. Roman has performed alongside jazz luminaries such as Joe Farnsworth, Sarah Hanahan, Michael Dease and Jim Rotondi, and has earned numerous accolades, including four DownBeat Student Music Awards, and recognition as a YoungArts Jazz Piano Finalist, a 2025 Yamaha Young Performing Artist, and a Jacksonville Jazz Piano Competition Winner. Through his work, he seeks to bridge his passions for music, natural imagery, and narrative—in order to inspire audiences to seek new ways of perceiving the world through the universal language of music. – Steve Korn Trio
Seattle drummer Steve Korn is a highly respected, versatile musician known for prioritizing musicality, making him a mainstay of the Northwest jazz scene with performances across the U.S., Europe, and Russia. A bandleader, he has released three acclaimed albums on Origin Records—Here and Now, Pride and Joy, and Points In Time—all nominated for Earshot Jazz Northwest Recording of the Year, and he received the Earshot Golden Ear Award for Emerging Artist in 2000. Korn has performed with numerous jazz greats including John Scofield, George Cables, and Ernestine Anderson, while regularly collaborating with top Seattle artists. In addition to performing, he is an author, composer, and dedicated educator, contributing to major publications and leading the University of Washington Jazz Workshop.

Kevin Buster, a founding member of multiple bands including Golden Earrings Jazz Band, is a multi-instrumentalist playing alto and soprano saxophones, guitar, clarinet, flute, washboard, and other percussion including tap dancing. He's been playing music since 1992 and has been playing with world famous Baby Gramps for the past three years.

Reuel Lubag is a distinguished jazz pianist, composer, and educator based in Seattle. He has performed with legends like Dizzy Gillespie, Joe Williams, and the Glenn Miller Orchestra. As a member of the Native Jazz Quartet, he toured Latin America as a U.S. State Department jazz ambassador.
Trish Hatley is a celebrated jazz vocalist known for her warm tone, masterful phrasing, and deep connection to the Great American Songbook. Raised in a musical family, she has performed professionally for decades, leading the Trish Hatley Quintet and recording four acclaimed albums with top Northwest musicians. She is also a longtime member of the vocal trio Trish, Hans & Phil, known for their tight harmonies and engaging performances. Beyond the stage, Hatley is a passionate producer and community builder, creating concert series and shows that bring jazz to new audiences. Expanding her artistry further, she is also a motivational speaker and author, sharing her message on “The Power of Song” and its ability to inspire personal transformation.

– Steve Treseler Quartet
Steve Treseler is an award-winning Seattle-based saxophonist, composer, and innovative educator hailed by Earshot as a “firebrand of the tenor saxophone,” with DownBeat praising his music as “beautifully crafted…whether free, through-composed, or somewhere in between.” He performs widely across North America and Europe, with appearances at Birdland, Blue Note Hawaii, and NPR’s Jazz Night in America, and is an active presence in the Pacific Northwest scene, collaborating with artists such as Ingrid Jensen, Johnaye Kendrick, and Jim Knapp. His recordings as a leader include Center Song and Invisible Sounds: For Kenny Wheeler, the latter named one of DownBeat’s best albums of 2019, as well as his latest release, The Grind (2025). In addition to exploring projects that span jazz, songwriting, and experimental music, Treseler is a dedicated teaching artist and founder of Infinite Improvisation, leading workshops and residencies worldwide. A graduate of New England Conservatory and the University of Washington, he is also the author of two widely used instructional books and a Conn Selmer performing artist.

With a performance history spanning more than 30 years and having released 15 CDs, Pearl Django endures as one of the most highly regarded Hot Club style groups working today. Although the band’s roots are firmly in the music made famous by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, its extensive repertoire includes traditional jazz classics and original compositions. Pearl Django has performed at festivals, dances and nightspots throughout the U.S. and abroad. They have played at the prestigious Festival Django Reinhardt in Samois sur Seine and have been featured on NPR’s “All Things Considered.” The band’s signature style is marked by pristine and dexterous string work, colors of Bal Musette, the steady pulse of rhythm guitar and an unmistakable swing that delights audiences of all musical sensibilities. Throughout the years, Pearl Django has cultivated a devoted and enthusiastic following and they continue to play to packed houses wherever they perform. – Clave Gringa
Clave Gringa is a Seattle-based Latin jazz ensemble led by pianist and composer Ann Reynolds. The group performs a vibrant mix of original compositions and Cuban classics, drawing from cha-cha-cha and Afro-Cuban rhythms. Their album Joy was nominated for the Earshot Golden Ear Award for Best Northwest Recording. The ensemble features Mike Mines on trumpet, Nathaniel Schleimer on tenor sax and flute, Willie Garza on percussion, and Andy Zadrozny on bass.

– Jacob Zimmerman Trio
Jacob Zimmerman was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He was a member of the award-winning Garfield High School Jazz Band studying under Clarence Acox. He moved first to Boston to study jazz saxophone at The New England Conservatory and then the Bay Area to study composition at Mills College. After moving back to Seattle in 2012, he began to establish himself as an in-demand freelance saxophonist and clarinetist. He developed a reputation for specializing in earlier jazz from the “78-rpm era” (1920s-50s). Jacob has performed for many swing dance and traditional jazz events both nationally and internationally. In 2019 he joined up with Rachael & Vilray whose first two albums (“Rachael & Vilray” and “I Love A Love Song!”) prominently feature Jacob’s playing and arranging.
As a bandleader Jacob plays concerts and holds down several weekly gigs in Seattle. His most recent recordings captured the sound of his regular working band. Known for a deep knowledge of the American Songbook and jazz repertoire, Jacob is a valued member of local bands led by Ray Skjelbred, Jonathan Doyle and many others.

– Neil Welch Duo
Saxophonist Neil Welch is a Seattle-based improviser, acoustic and electronic artist, curator, composer, recording artist and educator. His practice is firmly linked to the natural world, welcoming inspiration from the abundant wildernesses of the Pacific Northwest. These influences are sonically reflected by a measured use of space and activated silence, with such specialized techniques as multiphonic-acoustic chord playing, microtonal pitch content, and air/wind-based sound. He is also a deep practitioner in the sculpting of a compelling melody, played on horn voices ranging from soprano to bass saxophone. Neil’s performance and recorded works focus largely on current musical forms, with a strong emphasis on improvisation. He is a member of the acclaimed saxophone + electronics / drum duo Bad Luck, and Wayne Horvitz’s Royal Room Collective Music Ensemble. As a solo artist, Neil also particularly welcomes the emotive vulnerability of unamplified acoustic solo saxophone improvisation.
Neil embraces the power of community collaboration in the arts, often exploring varied ensemble instrumentations and interdisciplinary practices. He was a founding member of the Racer Sessions series (est. 2007 - 2024) and curator artistic curator (2014-16). Neil is currently a member of the collectively run Gallery 1412 artist space. With 7 solo releases and appearances on 60+ albums to date, Neil’s playing unabashedly embraces a vastness of sonic possibility. All About Jazz calls his work "stunning and extraordinary” and Downbeat Magazine calls Neil "an impassioned player.”

John Sanders teaches the music theory courses and directs the jazz band at Edmonds College. As a pianist and arranger, John studied with legendary directors Dave Barduhn and John Moawad at Mount Hood Community College and Central Washington University. He continues his work as a writer and performer on piano, accordion, and various Latin instruments all around the Northwest.
Since 2000, Alexey has lived and worked in Seattle. He performs with groups, Axiom Quartet, Greg Williamson Quartet (Ponyboy Records), Jay Thomas Big Band, Emerald City Big Band, and is a member and saxophonist soloist of Doctor Funk Band (Strokeland Records) www.doctorfunk.com.

Soundsation, the pride of Edmonds College's renowned music program, is a musical ensemble dedicated to the advancement of singing and playing jazz. Founded in 1974 by Frank DeMiero, Soundsation has been under the creative tutelage of Four Freshmen alumnus Kirk Marcy for the past 35 years. The ensemble has toured extensively including the Montreux and North Sea Jazz Festivals in Europe. Soundsation has the distinction of being the only college choir to have ever performed with the Count Basie Orchestra.

UMAMI JAZZ FUSION is Seattle's premier jazz fusion band. The powerhouse rhythm section features Dave Austin on drums, Jim Cliff on bass, Leonard Berman on guitar, Bruce Laven on keyboards and lead vocals, and Scott Adams on saxophone.

Pianist Danny Kolke is the heart and soul behind Boxley's and the JazzClubsNW organization. An electrifying performer influenced by Oscar Peterson, Gene Harris and Chick Corea, Kolke delivers muscular lines and gospel-infused harmony with passion and finesse.
Trumpeter and composer Jared Hall blends post-bop tradition with modern harmonic storytelling, creating music marked by lyricism, rhythmic clarity, and expressive depth. A Spokane native and winner of the 2013 National Trumpet Competition (Jazz Division), Hall has performed with artists including Maria Schneider, Paquito D’Rivera, Terence Blanchard, Arturo Sandoval, and George Benson, and appeared at venues such as Carnegie Hall and major jazz festivals across the country. His recordings as a leader include Hometown (2026), Influences (2024), and Seen on the Scene (2021), earning praise for being “fiery and fluid…steeped in tradition but pushing forward.” An in-demand educator, Hall has taught at institutions nationwide and currently serves as Director of Jazz Studies at Whitworth University. He is also Artistic Director of the Leavenworth Jazz Association, co-author of The Piano Grip System, and an active performer and mentor throughout the Pacific Northwest.
